We focused on this period because it's right during the alleged year(2017) that Houston was concluded (by the report) to have been taking part in the sign stealing scandal. It's also alleged that the 2018 Boston Red Sox used a sign stealing mechanism BUT that's currently under investigation.
Now it's important to note that they have not been concluded to have actually been participating in the in 2018-2019 in which no report has been filed as the commissioner's report only called out the 2017 season for the Houston Astros.
